Khema-e-Abbas is a community-centered Imambargah dedicated to preserving and promoting the timeless values of Islam, Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), and the traditions of Azadari.

What began as a humble Azakhana in India grew into a vibrant Imambargah in Karachi, Pakistan, and has now expanded to the United States, carrying forward a legacy of faith, remembrance, service, and community.

Historic 8th Muharram Azadari

One of the most distinguished traditions of Khema-e-Abbas is the historic 8th Muharram Azadari and Juloos that takes place in Karachi, Pakistan.

Recognized as one of the largest 8th Muharram gatherings in Karachi, this tradition has united generations of mourners in remembrance of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the martyrs of Karbala.

Khema-e-Abbas USA is honored to continue this sacred legacy and establish this historic tradition in the United States.
